We are going to passby Finger Lakes area (NY) and stay at Seneca lake area for a night. There are a lots wineries, but we only have limited time. Which winery should we visit?
By the way, I like to do photography, which lake is more photographable, Seneca, Cayuga or others?

oh man… all of them are good! :) I loved Fox Run. We went to Knapp & Swedish Hill too- but I think they’re on Cayuga. If you get a chance- stop at Wilhelmus Estate Winery in Canandaigua, it’s a cute place.

There are too many to mention here to choose from. Try SenecaLakeWine.com or do a search on “Seneca Lake wineries” or somesuch. The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle [newspaper] just had an insert about summer activities with an extensive listing of the wineries on all the Finger Lakes, so you might find some info if you go to their website. The map they had of FL wineries on Seneca Lake went from #25 to #74 on the map!

There will be “guided activities” at the Montezuma National refuge on June 21 [MontezumaWinery.com]; Fulkerson Winery 30th Anniversary Celebration on July 2 [FulkersonWinery.com]; the Finger Lakes Wine Festival in Watkins Glen, July 17-19 [FLWineFest.com]; etc, etc.

Have a great time in the beautiful Finger Lakes!
