    CraigsList.

You can limit the searches down to your area. A very very popular site to sell cars and car parts.

I’ve bought used car parts from e-bay – you can check-out the seller..

Try calling the salvage yards in your area, and/or try car-part.com
You can also check out how to bid at city, county and state surplus property auctions. The Crown Vic’s are good donors.
But to tell you the truth, stating with a engine that just needs put together might be a good way to go. PAW is one such supplier. I suggest this because by the time you buy the parts, and pay for the machine shop work the cost is about the same as the kit. If you check out the magazines at the local supermarket, you most likely can find other deals that may be better.
Then there is always the Ford Performance option, lets face it an aluminum block for a 302 (347) based engine is serious business (not to mention money). So if you want to go the king of the hill route give it some thought. A Boss 351 is heavy duty pounder, well a 427 to tell the truth.

Check out MPSautosalvage.com They specialize in mustangs and fords. They have tons and tons of parts cars and anything your looking for from a dip stick to a long block out of a GT500. If your wanting to rebuild a engine be sure to start with a COMPLETE engine, it will save you a lot of time and money in the long run. I have been dealing with them off and on for a few years and I always get treated real well. If you have ANY questions give them a call they have a lot of knowledgeable tecks that can get you started. Good Luck.
